This is a high-grade American-style heavy-duty bow shackle (reinforced bolt-pin safety shackle) purpose-built for hardcore off-road vehicles, heavy truck towing, outdoor rescue and specialty pulling. Rated WLL 8 tons (8 TON / 8000 kg), it goes beyond standard industrial shackles with an off-road upgrade: a rubber wear isolator on the bow and anti-rattle buffer washers on the pin. The design delivers 8-ton pulling power while protecting vehicle paint and recovery points—an essential tool for serious off-road enthusiasts and professional rescue teams.
2. Key Features & Design Highlights
- 8T WLL for heavy recovery: Rated working load of 8 tons with breaking strength typically 3–4× WLL or higher. Handles mid-size SUVs, pickups and light commercial recovery. Clear 8T embossing on the bow for quick load identification.
- Bolt, nut and R-clip lock: High-strength through-bolt with hex nut and reusable stainless R-clip (spring pin) for positive lock-out under violent towing vibration—easier to install and remove in the field than single-use split pins.
- Rubber wear sleeve (shackle isolator): Thick black engineering rubber sleeve on the bow crown prevents metal-on-metal contact with bumper tow points and recovery hooks—eliminates rattle, protects paint and preserves protective coatings.
- Anti-rattle polyurethane washers: Two high-elasticity red PU washers on the pin center the shackle in the tow loop, reduce side play and absorb shock—extending recovery gear life.
- High-visibility red coating: Full red paint on body, bolt and nut for fast identification in mud, dust, night work and desert conditions, with good UV and weather resistance.

Safety Guidelines
- Always install the R-clip before towing—without it the nut can back off under rope shock and vibration.
- Load through the center of the bow sleeve and pin axis—avoid edge loading, pinching or eccentric angles that can deform the shackle.
- Not for overhead crane lifting—this is a recovery / lashing grade product for vehicle pull and tie-down, not standard hoist or mine lifting service.
