This is a light-duty industrial JIS open-body eye-and-eye turnbuckle (rigging turnbuckle / spiral tensioner) in 1/4" size with standard double-eye (Eye & Eye) end fittings, rated for a working load limit (WLL) of 0.1 tons (100 kg). Built to JIS Japanese Industrial Standard open-body design, rotation of the center frame drives opposite-hand threaded rods to extend or retract together for precise straight-line tensioning of wire rope, chain or tie rods. Full electro-galvanized protection keeps the body compact and smooth—ideal for light permanent tension applications indoors and outdoors.
2. Key Features & Design Highlights
- JIS open-body frame: Classic open oval body with a clear window to inspect thread engagement on both rods—helps verify safe thread length during install and maintenance.
- Opposite-hand threads: Left and right internal threads in the frame—turn the body clockwise or counter-clockwise to tighten or loosen both ends simultaneously.
- Eye & Eye closed ends: Forged fixed eyes at both ends for stable connections to light shackles, S-hooks, quick links or wire rope ferrules; smooth bore reduces wear on soft rope.
- 1/4" size, WLL 0.1T: Nominal 1/4" body with fine thread pitch and moderate damping—allows delicate tension control without over-stressing light wire or plastic mesh.
- Electro-galvanized finish: Bright silver zinc plating gives everyday rust protection with a thin, even coat that preserves smooth thread engagement without binding.
- Tough carbon steel: Good stiffness and ductility within rating—overload tends to show as eye stretch or slight rod bend rather than sudden brittle failure.

Safety Guidelines
- Not for heavy lifting—WLL is 0.1 ton only. Do not use as a crane hook terminal or in heavy chain sling assemblies—use forged G-2110 or G-223 turnbuckles for lifting service.
- Maintain adequate thread engagement—keep at least about 1.5× thread diameter of rod inside the body when extended; never load with only a few threads engaged.
- Lubricate threads periodically in outdoor or coastal service to prevent seizure and ensure future adjustment.
