This is a heavy-duty Grade 80 high-strength eye self-locking hook (commonly called a self-locking safety hook or eye self-locking hook) in 10-8 size for 10 mm chain, rated for a working load limit (WLL) of 3.15 tons (3150 kg). Unlike conventional hooks with a thin spring latch, this model uses a load-activated auto-locking mechanism—the hook nose and lock close automatically when tension is applied and cannot be opened manually while loaded. This design eliminates the risk of accidental unhooking from sway or vibration. The full red high-visibility coating and robust fixed eye make it a core safety terminal for high-rise lifting, heavy slings and high-risk load handling.

- Grade 80 forged alloy steel: Drop-forged from high-strength alloy steel, quenched and tempered for tensile strength, fatigue life and low-temperature toughness. Under overload the hook tends to open and bend plastically rather than fail brittle without warning.
- 10-8 size, 3.15T WLL: Forged markings include 10-8 for 10 mm Grade 80 chain, WLL 3.15T; CE marking can be arranged per order when required by your market. Breaking load typically reaches 4× WLL or higher.
- Dual-safety auto-lock mechanism: Hinged self-locking nose with a micro return spring and rear release trigger—opens easily when unloaded; under load the hook dead-locks and resists vibration, bounce and multi-directional movement far beyond thin-latch hooks.
- Fixed eye design: Thick eye with smooth chamfered bore reduces wear on wire rope and synthetic slings and mates with G80 connecting links or shackles.

Safety Guidelines
- Never force the release trigger while the hook is loaded—internal lock pressure is extreme under tension and forced release can cause instant drop.
- Keep the hinge, latch and spring clear of mud and debris—foreign material can prevent full lock engagement when empty.
- Do not rotate under load—fixed eye hooks are not swivel hooks; forced rotation creates severe shear and torque at the connection.
- Do not weld, heat or modify—the heat treatment must not be altered.
