This is a heavy-duty automotive shackle hitch receiver assembly (shackle hitch converter) designed for off-road vehicles, pickups and rescue trucks. It combines a black solid-steel square hitch bar machined for a standard 2" receiver with a front red forged bow shackle (G-209 type) configured to customer WLL and size requirements. By converting the rigid hitch square into a swinging bow-shackle anchor, it greatly improves safety and convenience for off-road recovery, heavy towing, roadside rescue and cargo securement.
2. Key Features & Design Highlights
- Solid steel hitch bar: Machined from solid carbon or alloy steel—not hollow tube or cast iron—for high impact and shear resistance under hard pulls. Square section with a standard hitch pin hole; can be inserted horizontally or vertically as needed.
- Matte black powder coat: Heavy industrial coating resists stone chips, mud abrasion and long-term corrosion.
- Custom red bow shackle: Forged alloy steel G-209 bow shackle available in customer-specified WLL (e.g. 2T, 3.25T, 4.75T) and nominal size, heat treated and finished in high-visibility red paint contrasting with the black bar.
- Rubber shackle isolator: Thick ribbed rubber sleeve on the bow crown plus pin washers reduce rattle and metal-on-metal contact during driving, and protect soft tow straps and winch rope from sharp edges.
- Screw-pin quick connect: Hardened blackened or galvanized threaded pin with flat head and hole for hand or tool tightening—fast hook-up to tow straps, rings, chain or winch hooks in the field.

Safety Guidelines
- Fully tighten the screw pin before loading—never pull with the pin only partially threaded or the threads can strip and the shackle can release.
- Match shackle WLL to vehicle towing capacity and recovery conditions—do not exceed the rated assembly.
- Do not weld, cut or heat the receiver or shackle—machining and heat treatment must not be altered.
