This is a medium-to-heavy-duty industrial American open-body hook-and-eye turnbuckle (rigging turnbuckle / spiral tensioner) with a closed eye at one end and an open hook at the other. Nominal size is 3/4" with a working load limit (WLL) of 1.18 tons (1180 kg)—about 18% higher safe capacity than a typical JIS 1T unit at the same 3/4" size. Built to US-standard high-strength rigging practice, rotation of the open center frame drives opposite-hand threaded rods to extend or retract together for precise straight-line tensioning of medium-to-heavy wire rope, chain or tie rods. Full electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized protection suits construction stays, port mooring and permanent industrial bracing indoors and outdoors.

Safety Guidelines
- Not for vertical lifting—WLL is 1.18 ton for tensioning only. Do not use as a crane hook terminal, hoist assembly or manned lift component.
- Open hook has no safety latch—keep the line under tension in service; slack or heavy sway can allow the hook to disengage. Inspect regularly.
- Maintain adequate thread engagement—keep at least about 1.5× thread diameter of rod inside the body when extended; never load with only a few threads engaged.
